The sport of golf is usually referred to as the sport for the rich due to its lucrative nature. For those who can afford it, here are some things that you might want to checkout in terms of proper clothing in
the golf field. Remember, not all golf clothing is made the same, but the fashion is pretty steady anywhere you go. Universally, the golf community expects everyone to wear pleasant-looking slacks or shorts.

For women, skirts and skorts are allowed for the ladies. Shirts normally should have a collar and stay tucked in. Shoes may have cleats, but most golf courses only permit soft cleats and many avoid wearing golf-specific shoes. Winter dress can be less formal, with fleece vests, rain wear, and turtle necks also allowed. General clothing made with the same style might work for golf; however, most golf-specific sports clothing often are more comfortable and cooler to wear during the game. The real distinction in how golf clothing differs from other sports wear is in the length of shorts and skirts, usually at shortest mid thigh. Sleeveless is acceptable if the top has a collar, but they can be frowned on because of sweat, sunburn, and cultural differences.
