In latest NBA trade news, Chauncey Billups continues to tune out Carmelo Anthony trade rumors. It was reported that Chauncey Billups has grown so immune to the constantly swirling trade rumors involving Denver Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony that he simply tunes out the chatter. The Denver native and Nuggets point guard has been brought up in the most up to date trade buzz to pop up. ESPN, referring to anonymous sources, said the New Jersey Nets are trying to get the Detroit Pistons drawn in a deal to get hold of Anthony, and Billups would be thrown into the mix as well. The Nuggets, however, would not comment on the theory. The wished-for three-way trade would end up sending Anthony, Billups, and Pistons guard Richard Hamilton to New Jersey, with the Nuggets probably receiving rookie Derrick Favors, guard Devin Harris, and two first-round picks. But Detroit’s concern in the current deal is halfhearted at best, according to ESPN. Billups denied the speculation after their practice last Saturday, saying he would concentrate only on what he can control – his play on the court. At this point, the possible trade has been put up in the air. There are only rumors at this time.
